About Morton Hotel

Bloomsbury has long been one of London's easiest bases for getting around, with good transport links and a wealth of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and the Morton Hotel occupies a spot on Woburn Place right in the middle of it. This 34-room hotel keeps things straightforward: comfortable, quiet rooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and, in some cases, a small fridge, making them a practical option for a city stay.

There's a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast, so guests can eat in without having to head out first thing. Staff are noted for being friendly and helpful, which counts for a lot in a hotel this size. Pets are welcome, and while the hotel itself doesn't have parking, chargeable parking can be found nearby.

Beyond the front door, Bloomsbury offers plenty of restaurants, pubs and entertainment within easy reach, and the surrounding transport links make it simple to explore the rest of London from here. It's a hotel built around convenience and comfort rather than extras, which suits guests who want a reliable, central place to rest between days out.

My family had a really lovely stay at the Morton Hotel. The room was beautiful, quiet, spacious, and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed and felt really welcoming. The location was also great — right across from a small park and within easy walking distance of some great cafes and restaurants, plus a children’s park, which was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, and it was the best decision we made on this trip! Our whole experience was simply superb: the room was clean, spacious, and more than enough for two people. The bed was big and very comfortable, and the bathroom was also quite large and comfortable. The cleaning service came in every day and also restocked the coffee and tea supplies, including two sets of delicious cookies. Everyone on the staff was extremely kind and even left us a bottle of wine and chocolates for my partner’s birthday. I would like to specifically thank Anas, who was very kind and even offered to come to our room personally to help us with the TV. The hotel itself is in a very central location: just a 1-minute walk from an Underground station, Pret A Manger, Tesco, and a really nice park where you can sit and relax. We would definitely come back to this hotel! The only downside was the noise from the street but nothing severe, we had the windows open, yet keeping them closed would probably be completely fine for most.

This is an excellent hotel conveniently located near Euston Station. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and very comfortable. During my stay the hotel was quiet, and the bar area had a great atmosphere and was a lovely place to relax. What truly made my experience worthy of a five‑star review was the outstanding service from the reception/bar team. Iryna and Aytul went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They took the time to ask about the reason for my trip, and offered helpful insights about the local area. Their warmth and attentiveness made a genuine difference to my stay. In a time when people are often quick to complain when things go wrong, I felt it was important to highlight such a positive experience. I will certainly be booking again in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at the Morton Hotel. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Our room was luxuriously appointed with first‑class facilities that made the whole experience feel extra special. The location is excellent — close to public transport, great restaurants, popular shopping areas, and major tourist attractions, which made getting around and exploring London incredibly easy. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the Morton to anyone.
