About Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation
There's no shortage of places to eat and drink around Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation, with a pub and several restaurants just outside the door on Sloane Avenue, making it easy to head out for breakfast, dinner or a quiet pint without straying far from base. The apartments themselves come with their own kitchens, so self-catering is just as simple for those who'd rather cook.
Rooms here are generously sized, with comfortable beds and reliable showers, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Some apartments come with views over the London skyline, a nice bonus for an otherwise straightforward stay. That said, maintenance in some units has been patchy, so it's worth bearing in mind that the experience can vary from apartment to apartment. Facilities include a lift, free WiFi, en-suite bathrooms, concierge services and support for business travellers, plus porters on hand to help with luggage.
The Chelsea location is a genuine strength, putting sightseeing, shopping and public transport all within easy reach. For anyone wanting a base with restaurants and entertainment on the doorstep and good onward links across London, Sloane Avenue is hard to beat.

What guests say
Disappointing! The building looks impressive from the outside, but the rooms are extremely basic and appear to have been renovated cheaply, more like a budget hostel than a hotel at this price point. The check-in process was also weird, as we were sent into a back office to pay a deposit, and the people there were so unfriendly and unprofessional. They all looked miserable. Definitely not worth the money! Don't fall for it, it's a scam! Stay somewhere else!

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel or serviced apartment. I checked into Nell Gwynn and was assigned apartment 317. Within minutes of entering the apartment, I saw cockroaches. The room was filthy and completely unacceptable. I did not stay even one night. I immediately packed my luggage and left. I went straight to reception and asked for help and for someone to come up and see the apartment. I was told by the receptionist that they were not allowed to enter the apartment, which is unbelievable given the situation. I then emailed the property explaining what had happened, but because it was the weekend, I was told no one was available. I personally went to their office to speak to the manager, Greg. His behavior was shocking. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He denied that there were any cockroaches, even though no one had inspected the apartment at all. Days had already passed, yet he confidently said there was nothing there. When I asked for a refund, it was immediately refused. Even worse, they kept my £500 security deposit, despite the fact that I did not use the apartment for more than a few minutes. This feels like fraud. Greg then told me I should have taken photos. Am I supposed to leave my son alone with our luggage in the middle of the night to start photographing cockroaches? The entire experience was traumatic for both me and my son. We were forced to leave at night, despite having paid in full, because the apartment was uninhabitable and management chose not to believe me. This is a terrible place to stay, with appalling management. Greg, in particular, was disrespectful and unprofessional. I strongly warn anyone against staying here.

It's inconsiderate to make delivery drivers remove their equipment like helmets and balaclavas to deliver to apartments. If you don't want us to go up while we're working, ask the concierge to come up and deliver. This is our work attire, so you need to adapt or ask your employees to deliver directly to the residents.

The appartement was compact, but had everything you need! It was clean, the beds were great, good shower. The porters were very helpfull. Location is superb!! Just across the road is a little supermarkt and a Starbucks. The shops and public transport are within a 7 minuten walk. In short: fantastic, felt like home away from home!! We will be back here on our next visit to London.
