Nottingham Place Hotel

The hotel was a huge disappointment. I definitely do not recommend it. We only stayed there because we had no other choice; otherwise, I would never have chosen this hotel. The first room we were given had water leaking from the ceiling. It was absolutely unacceptable. To be fair, once we informed the staff, they changed our room immediately. However, the second room was like a tiny cage—very small, cramped, and uncomfortable. The only positive thing about our stay was the receptionist. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name, but he was very kind and helpful. Other than that, I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. I definitely do not recommend it. Save yourself the disappointment and choose another hotel if you can.

The staff were very helpful and friendly when we arrived. The decor is tight, with halls that could be difficult for wider or larger luggage. The rooms were minimalistic, and didn't offer the ability to cook. The shower was powerful and hot, and the bedroom was simplistic but comfortable. There was a small area downstairs where I could work from. Thank you!

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. I was charged more than the price shown on Booking.com and had to argue to get the overcharged amount refunded. My first room had a serious leak from the bathroom ceiling, so I had to move rooms. Although the second room was larger, the air conditioning did not cool the upstairs bedroom, making it impossible to sleep comfortably during one of London’s hottest days. On top of that, the bathroom lights were not working. After dealing with incorrect pricing, a leaking ceiling, ineffective air conditioning, and a bathroom without proper lighting, I cannot recommend this hotel. In my opinion, neither its Booking.com rating nor its Google rating reflects the actual quality of the stay.

What a lovely stay at Nottingham place hotel London! Great location and customer service. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was impressively clean, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The team truly went above and beyond when I realized I had left a valuable item behind after checking out. I couldn't return to the hotel to retrieve it, but the staff were so kind and understanding. They arranged to have it delivered back to me, saving me a great deal of stress and worry. I'm so grateful for their honesty and exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Nottingham place hotel London not just for its great location and cleanliness, but for its outstanding team who genuinely care about their guests. I will definitely be back!
