About St Davids Hotels Paddington
Norfolk Square sits at the heart of Paddington, a garden square lined with terraced townhouses just a short walk from the station and within reach of Hyde Park. St Davids Hotels Paddington occupies one of these townhouses, giving guests a central London base with easy onward transport links to the rest of the city.
The hotel has 72 rooms, including family options, all with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided. Some rooms are on the small side and train noise can carry through at night, so light sleepers may want to bear this in mind, but the rooms are kept clean and smartly finished. Staff offer concierge services and can help with luggage storage, which is useful given the central location and the number of guests passing through on their way elsewhere.
There's no restaurant on site, but pubs, bars and eateries are all close by in the surrounding streets, along with entertainment options nearby. A picnic area and free WiFi round out the practical facilities. It works well as a straightforward, well-placed stop for exploring London without paying central London prices.

What guests say
This hotel is in a great location with plenty of breakfast and lunch/dinner in closing walking distance. The paddington train station is very close by and is a big and well-connected station, as well as having several bus stations nearby to the hotel. My room was clean and the staff was so nice. My only complaint is that, while I knew my room had a separate bathroom, I assumed it would at least be in the same hallway so I was surprised to learn that the bathroom was two floors up, and that got pretty annoying. Also, not a complaint but the hotel does not have facecloths/small washcloths just FYI if you want to bring your own instead. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again!

It is a bit more like a hostel than hotel, but the location is great, the hotel is clean, the rooms are very small but fine (I got a single room with a private bathroom). I would do it again as a solo traveler. Also, I come to London to spend my time outside of the hotel room; however, I did have work and had to make calls/Zoom: video worked perfectly for all my calls. No lag, no delay. It's a good hotel and amazing deal.

Perfect location very close to Paddington Station. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Service was excellent and all employees have treated us extremely well. The view is extraordinary and the provided fan is a nice white noise to sleep to. All in all an excellent stay and I can't wait to come back!

Cosy and comfortable room. Great location - 2 secs to trains/tube/heathrow express, shops and restaurants. Vending machines onsite for coffee / snacks. You can hear the trains as they pass so maybe not great for light sleepers, I could only just open a large suitcase. They can store luggage. They hold your key when you go out exploring. Helpful and efficient staff.

Guests consistently praise this hotel for its great value, convenient location near Paddington Station, helpful staff, and clean, stylish rooms.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be extremely small and noisy due to nearby trains.
