For a one week business trip it could not have been better. Had a room with a nice bathroom, comfy bed and the basic amenities I needed. Nothing extra or redundant. It's not a 4 star hotel let's get that clear! For a room by Liverpool Street, its great! There's loads of food and shopping options in the area, walking distance to everything, and if not you got the station right there.

Don't know of the hotel but went Bull pub for a drink in here, easy to talk, beers on tap and decent bev variety. Bathroom was fresh and clean. Staff were friendly enough. Location a stone throw away from LST trains and loads close.

The Bull and The Hide has a lot going for it. It's location is brilliant. So close to Liverpool Street yet down a side street so away from the noise. It's above a lovely bar and near some good restaurants. The staff were lovely and while the rooms are small (this is London after all!) the bed is a good size and comfortable. Also the free "extras" in the room are a great touch (from crisps, biscuits and bottles of coke to calming spray). I would definitely come back.
