About Wedgewood Hotel
Sixty rooms make up the Wedgewood Hotel, set on Leinster Square within easy reach of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Free on-site parking is a genuine perk in this part of London, where that's rarely a given, and the location puts guests close to public transport for getting around the wider city.
Facilities cover a restaurant and bar on site, a gym, meeting rooms, and a concierge desk for luggage storage, laundry and travel arrangements. Breakfast is served in-house, and the hotel also hosts weddings. Staff are consistently noted as friendly and helpful, and the hotel is generally considered good value for the area. That said, some rooms show signs of wear, and air conditioning isn't reliably available throughout, so it's worth keeping expectations in check on the room front.
Beyond the hotel there's plenty nearby to fill a day, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy walking distance, plus entertainment options scattered around the neighbourhood. It suits travellers who want a well-placed, practical base in west London without paying premium rates.

First time in London and the property was horrible! They have an infestation of bedbug and cockroaches. We had to ask to be switched from hour room because the bedbugs were crawling on daylight. We catch one and showed to the concierge; no surprise at all! The rooms don’t have any airflow. It was HOT as hell inside the halls and rooms. Only fans available for the summer heat. Air conditioning only in the reception. The first night we needed a bigger fan and the receptionist spent more than one hour talking with a friend outside of the property and when asked always replied with “one moment, please”. We had to endure the first night with a very small fan and three cold showers in order to get some sleep. The location was the only thing good, easy access to the metro system and other amenities nearby. Please don’t go at least until they show you some sort of cleaning service performed.

Avoid this hotel if you value comfort, sleep, or basic room maintenance. The room was unbearably hot. There was no air conditioning, only a tiny table fan that did almost nothing, and to make matters worse, the window didn't open. The room quickly became stuffy and uncomfortable. We were given a room directly next to the elevator, so we could constantly hear people going up and down, along with the elevator's loud dinging throughout the day and night. Getting a good night's sleep was nearly impossible. The room itself was incredibly small, and I genuinely don't understand how it is marketed for two people. The bed was minuscule—barely large enough for one person, let alone two adults. The condition of the room was poor. Furniture was scratched, chipped, and damaged throughout. The walls had visible cracks, peeling paint, and other signs of neglect. The floor was uneven, which only added to the feeling that the property is poorly maintained. The bathroom was ridiculously cramped. Instead of a proper bathroom door, it had what looked like a wardrobe-style door. There wasn't even a power outlet by the bed, which made charging devices inconvenient. The shower was another major issue. It leaked badly and sprayed water outside the shower area and directly onto the toilet, leaving the bathroom floor wet after every use. Overall, the room felt worn out, uncomfortable, and badly in need of renovation. Between the heat, noise, tiny bed, poor maintenance, and bathroom problems, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've experienced and certainly not worth the price. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

During our stay, everything about this hotel was disappointing. First of all, we were told we would be given a room on the first floor, but instead we were placed on the fourth floor. The room was extremely small, damp, and the water pressure was so low that it was difficult to use. Even after I reported this to the reception, nothing was done. The receptionist simply told me that the higher the floor, the lower the water pressure, which is not an acceptable excuse. The room was unbearably hot, even with the window open, and there was no air conditioning. Whenever we opened the window, insects kept coming into the room, and the room itself was not clean. Overall, I was dissatisfied with every aspect of my stay. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I will be reporting this to every relevant review platform and authority.

Could I give a 0 star? The first room was a small but queen sized bed, but the ceiling leaked, we were moved to an even smaller room with a full sized bed, the coffee "bar" was 6 inches from the foot of the bed. Only one of us could be in the bathroom at once, there was no place to open a suitcase except on the bed and the hotel refused to return any money either for the inconvenience or the smaller bed
