Blandford's has become our go-to place whenever we're craving Italian food. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming restaurant with a real home-from-home feel rather than a posh or overly formal atmosphere, I highly recommend it. The food is consistently delicious, the homemade cocktails are excellent, and they have a fantastic wine selection to pair with every meal. A special thank you to Jessica, who always makes us feel so welcome. Her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism truly make every visit memorable. The entire team deserves recognition for creating such a warm and friendly environment. It's rare to find a place where you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in, and Blandford's does exactly that. Thank you again to Jessica and all the staff, we'll definitely be back many more times! Vic

This is a perfect restaurant for true home cooked delicious authentic food. The owner (Jessica) is one of the most authenticly amazing people that you will meet. The food is honestly perfectly delicious, pasta or chicken, aubergine or salad, dessert or coffee. Go for food, drinks or a simple chat, which will flourish into making new friends and a culinary delight. The staff are great, the location perfect, the food outstanding. This restaurant you will never regret coming back to, over and over again.

I stopped by Il Blandford’s on a Friday lunchtime, drawn in by the promise of something authentic—and I wasn’t disappointed. I went for a pizza Diavola at £18, super good for the quality ingredients used and paired with a glass of Valpolicella, and honestly, everything was delicious. Simple, well-executed, and full of flavour. What struck me most, though, was the atmosphere. It’s not your typical busy, rushed lunch spot. Instead, the place has a quiet, almost suspended feeling—calm, understated, and a little unconventional. The kind of place where time slows down a bit. You get the sense that this isn’t a restaurant run by a corporate machine, but by someone fiercely independent, with a strong personality behind it. There’s character here—maybe even a touch of eccentricity—which somehow adds to the charm rather than taking away from it. Staff friendly and welcoming like a real Italian family business orientated, Jessica the owner is the star in the area. If you’re expecting noise and chaos, you won’t find it here. But if you’re open to something more intimate, slightly different, and genuinely good food, Il Blandford’s is definitely worth a visit.
