What diners say
We had a really enjoyable Thai food experience here. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared-while the spice levels weren’t extremely hot, everything tasted genuinely delicious. We had made a reservation in advance, and getting seated was quick and smooth. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxed dinner. I would say it’s a bit on the pricey side, but that’s fairly standard for London. If you’re looking to enjoy good Thai cuisine in a nice setting, this place is definitely worth trying. Enjoy your meal and have a great time!

Extremely disappointed. I have both ordered on many occasions and dined here often. Therefore, I am well versed on usual portion size and quality. We ordered and were vastly shocked to receive a red thai curry portion that was at best 1/3 of normal size. They also charged £4.50 for coconut rice that was barely three sooonfuls. My boyfriend then had to reorder us a new dinner as our measly 3 bites each just didn’t cut it. I can praise the summer rolls and give credit when it’s due. Uber eats did nothing to resolve this issue and neither did the restaurant when I called to speak to them and they fobbed me off and they never called back as promised. Could have simply been rectified by sending a new red thai curry or 2 if they are now offering such paltry serving sizes. I must also highlight the fact I am not a greedy person expecting big servings and value quality over quantity every time but THE PORTION WAS TRULY meagre and a waste of time and money.

My friend and I had the best time at Rosa’s Thai on Tuesday evening 13/01/26. The atmosphere was great. Can’t compliment my food enough as it was just amazing. I was torn between pad Thai and a curry but eventually I went for the tofu pad Thai and it was a great choice. It was full of flavour, hot and portion was generous. I also ordered the veggie summer rolls on the side and I didn’t realise they will be cold but it is my fault not checking with a staff member before ordering. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lady serving us was kind and very polite, we had a nice chat. I also had a tea with a condensed milk, and I asked to make it less sweet as I knew it will be very sweet. Great experience! One of the best meals I had in a long time! I will be back to try more options! I recommend this place! If you haven’t been there yet, plan your visit! Thanks !

I usually treat myself to Rosa’s Thai about once a month, usually after a particularly busy period at work when I finally get a day off. I’ve been to several of their other branches in the past year and have always had a good experience, but this time I chose the Angel branch because I happened to be nearby. Unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience for me. I ordered a Tom Yum soup followed by a Pad Thai. The server asked whether I’d like the soup as a starter, and I said yes. Despite that, both dishes arrived at the same time. I don’t blame the server personally, as this was most likely a kitchen issue, but it was the first sign that things weren’t quite right. When I started the soup, I immediately noticed something was wrong. I’ve had Tom Yum at several other Rosa’s Thai branches as well as many other Thai restaurants, and this looked nothing like what I had before. It was covered with an excessive amount of oil. My first thought was that another sauce had accidentally been mixed into it. I couldn’t even taste the lemon grass. Then I wanted to ask someone about it, but there wasn’t a single member of staff nearby. Every Tom Yum I’ve had elsewhere has been much clearer and far less oily. I’ve attached photos so you can decide for yourselves. And you can’t tell me that it is how it is supposed to look and taste like. Because either this branch is making the soup incorrectly or every other Rosa’s Thai I’ve visited has been doing it wrong this entire time. In short, what I was served here was completely different. The Pad Thai wasn’t terrible, but it was noticeably blander than what I’ve had at other Rosa’s Thai restaurants. I’ve honestly had more flavourful Pad Thai from street food stalls. The presentation was also surprisingly careless: some of the prawns had simply been piled around the edge of the plate and looked as though they were about to fall off. At one point I genuinely wondered whether the chef hadn’t turned up and someone else had been left to prepare the food. I left most of the soup untouched but finished the Pad Thai. Afterwards, I spent a long time trying to get someone’s attention. Eventually I had to get up and wait by the reception desk. Someone in the kitchen finally noticed me and told the server, who came over after another wait. I asked whether the soup was really supposed to look like that. I was told it was normal. I even pointed out the amount of oil with my spoon and explained that I’d never seen Tom Yum like this at any other Rosa’s Thai branch. The response was simply indifference. Overall, I felt I’d completely wasted my money. This was a genuinely poor experience and well below the standard I’ve come to expect from Rosa’s Thai. Honestly I wasn’t expecting magic but I was expecting at least some decent food. I won’t be returning to this branch. And to be honest, it’s made me question whether I’ll visit Rosa’s Thai again at all. Spending £27.68 on a meal that I could barely eat is incredibly disappointing. This branch clearly needs to improve and until it does, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
