What visitors say
We camped for a wonderful ten nights at Broad Meadow House. It’s a small campsite in a perfect location with a beautiful view, just a few minutes walking distance from Charlestown’s quaint harbour, restaurants, bars and beach etc. You can walk to two further bays along the coastal path. It was great having our own shower room and toilet and all facilities were spotless. Debs is lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Booking was easy and she sent us lots of information. We thoroughly recommend staying here. We must also mention the owls in the trees behind our pitch, just perfect.

Had a terrible experience with the owner of the campsite. After a 40km hike of the costal path we had to cut it short due to a friend collapsing from exhaustion. When we tried to get a pitch at a campsite, that had plenty of availability, the female owner refused us and accused us of lying about the situation. Luckily some other people in the village were understanding of the situation and helped us out with a place to stay. I would give 0 stars to this campsite if I could.

We had a great time staying at Broadmeadow House in July 24 and everything was prepared with so much loving attention to detail. The view from our part of the meadow was breathtakingly beautiful, the area has so much to offer and we would love to come back one day. Special thanks to Debs for her genuine kindness, we got the warmest welcome we experienced in a long time and were greeted like long lost friends. 10/5 stars.

Whilst i haven't sadly, managed to return for at least 5 years, it's a great place to stay at. Debs & her family were very welcoming. The breakfast baps were outstanding. All things being equal, i shall return in 2021..😊
