Crediton, Tiverton and Exeter are all within reach, as are Dartmoor and Exmoor. Killerton, Knightshayes and Castle Drogo belong to the National Trust and make for decent outings. The village of Bickleigh has restaurants and shops. Footpaths thread through the surrounding countryside, and the north and south Devon coasts are both accessible for a day trip. The Shed with a View itself sits within 4 acres of woodland and grounds, with a summerhouse overlooking a pond and space to sit outside.
The single bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite with bath and shower. An open-plan living area with full-height windows frames views across rolling hills; a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer means you can cook or do laundry. Freeview TV, wifi and parking for two cars are provided. You get bed linen, towels and heating included. The enclosed patio has garden furniture and a door leading directly from the bedroom. One well-behaved dog stays free.
Access is via a rough single-track lane. The grounds contain unfenced ponds, so the property is not suitable for children. No smoking inside.
