Sycamore Farm

Sycamore Farm is a working farm property that suits families and larger groups looking for space to spread out. The 15th-century farmhouse has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, each with an ensuite, sleeping up to 8 guests. One pet stays free. The working farm keeps Highland cattle, and during show season the owner welcomes help with grooming if guests are interested.

Inside, exposed beams and traditional features run through the building. The ground floor has a living room with woodburner, separate dining room with open fire, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric and oil Aga cookers, dishwasher, American fridge freezer. A utility room has washing and tumble drying. The games room holds a pool table, snooker table and dartboard. Upstairs, the four bedrooms offer a mix of configurations: two have zip-and-link beds that split into singles, one a super kingsize, and one a kingsize. All four ensuite bathrooms have heated towel rails. Outside, a hot tub and sauna are private to the property, and the rear garden has seating and a gas barbecue. Parking for four cars is on site, and an electric vehicle charging point is available at cost.

Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included, along with initial fuel for both fires. The property is in Mid Suffolk near Ipswich, on a working farm with its own character rather than in a built-up area. No smoking inside.
