About Benbow Pond Holiday Cottages
Benbow Pond Holiday Cottages sit behind their own private pond on the Cowdray Estate at the edge of Midhurst, giving self-catering guests a genuinely rural setting without leaving the town behind.
The four cottages, Broomhill, Heathend, Highfield and Oaters Wood, sleep between two and four people and each come with a welcome hamper from the estate's award-winning farm shop, including eggs, bread, butter and jam produced on the estate itself. Dogs are welcome for an additional charge, and miles of footpaths lead directly from the cottages into the surrounding parkland.
The setup suits families or longer stays better than a single night, with fixed Monday, Wednesday and Friday changeover days, and puts guests within easy reach of Cowdray's ruins, farm shop and polo grounds as well as Midhurst town centre.

Another great stay at Cowdray Cottages. We have stayed many times now and we will be returning again shortly, we hope. Great quality in a beautiful quiet location. We have also stayed at their B&B rooms at the Cowdray Golf Club which are also great for the odd few nights and you get a lovely breakfast as well. Well done Cowdray Estates.

This was our second stay at Broomhill Cottage. The location at Benbow Pond is lovely with walks out into open countryside from the doorstep, including roe deer and green woodpecker. There is lots to do in the area and plenty of places to eat and shop in Midhurst which is two miles away. The location is peaceful and quiet. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is well equipped and has everything you might need. It was also spotlessly clean, and the garden area is beautifully kept. We loved it and look forward to our next stay.

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at Highfield Cottage. Upon arrival, everything was spotless. The welcome hamper was a great addition, as we were able to pop the kettle on straight away for a cuppa. The little patio area is perfect for a sunny breakfast, or a glass or 2 watching the sun set in the evening. Very comfy bed, and a decent shower. A lovely, peaceful location which we hope to return to in the future.

We visit every year and stay with friends. The cottages never disappoint, this is a magical slice of British countryside and the cottages are a fantastic base to go and adventure. You don't need to go far with the pond, great walks / runs and the golf course on your doorstep. The cottages are very well equipped and the team at Cowdray are a pleasure to deal with. Great farm shop, great pubs and lots going on in the local villages. We love it here!
