1st time visitor to this hotel based on the Quayside in Newcastle. The staff and service were excellent. Lovely bright, clean and lively hotel. The rooms are half open plan with the sink and shower in the main room. Separate toilet, which I hadn't realised when I booked. Not a problem for me but just to be aware. Breakfast was lovely and looks out onto the river from the Gino D Campo restaurant and again the staff were very attentive and friendly.

We had a marvellous one night stay here. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location. Rooms are perfect, river view was lovely. We had food and drinks on the afternoon, sat in the sunshine outside with delicious food and wonderful service, what more could we need. Breakfast the following morning was also delicious, very tasty and fresh. Thank you to all the friendly staff. We will stay here again for sure and would recommend the hotel to everyone.

Excellent time a melià Newcastle. We stayed for one night but wished we'd booked more!. Really clean rooms, big enough for me and my gorgeous wifey. Staff were very very helpful and even brought up an extra duvet for my wife as she felt a bit chilled. Weather was warm but cold on the night and showering so it was really nice. Breakfast was amazing and loved every part of our stay. Parking was a bit tricky but we parked in thd larger car park under the bridge. £20 for 24 hours. Was tight getting the range rover sport in im not going to lie but I managed. All in all a great experience and we definitely will be staying afain , this time a little bit longer. Thank you to all the staff! Keep up the amazing work!

Friendly staff. Joined the Melia rewards scheme, received text message when room was ready, which was a couple of hours before usual check in. Flooring in room instead of carpet which made it feel extra clean. Fridge with several bottles of water and soft drinks. Very comfortable sleep, quietest room I have ever stayed in, must have good soundproofing. Shower and sink in room but good screening from the sleeping area, toilet completely seperate behind door. Breakfast was excellent, eggs/omlette cooked to order.
