About Glamp and Tipple

Tucked away near Great Ellingham, Glamp and Tipple offers a collection of luxury insulated yurts, each with its own private hot tub and bathroom – a proper step up from standard canvas camping. The yurts sleep between two and eight guests and welcome dogs, making them versatile for couples, families or groups of friends looking to explore the Norfolk countryside without sacrificing home comforts. WiFi keeps you connected, and the site stays open year-round for off-season escapes.

Beyond the accommodation, there's a full programme of onsite activities including yoga sessions, beauty treatments and workshops – ideal if you fancy a more immersive retreat rather than simply using the site as a base. It's a polished, sociable setup that works well for those after a bit of pampering alongside their rural getaway.

6 of us stayed here for a friend’s 40th Birthday in January. Yurts were warm and comfortable (once the fire was lit!) hot tub was ready for us when we arrived. We had the Cinema package, but forgot to bring our fire stick, but there were lots of DVDs to borrow. I would suggest taking your own fry pan/sauce pans if planning on cooking. Brilliant weekend, lovely place, would definitely stay again.

We recently hired Glamp & Tipple exclusively for my sister’s hen party, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. With 17 of us in the group, the communication with Helen (the owner) from the time of booking (11 months in advance) was brilliant. She was very responsive and nothing was ever too much trouble. As it was a special occasion, the team went above and beyond to make it memorable: including a hen party balloon arch that was waiting for us, pizza ovens were made available, and our hot tubs were even heated to different temperatures to accommodate the heatwave. We were also free to decorate the site as we liked, and bring in our own external caterers which made it feel extra personal. The Glamp & Tipple app is great - super helpful both before and during the stay. It’s clear the owners have thought of absolutely everything: an honesty shop, giant wheelbarrows for moving your stuff, every sport and game you could imagine, plus DVDs, a proper coffee machine, an ice machine, and local produce (and lots more!). The bathrooms were spacious and clean (especially for glamping!), and the yurts were really well-equipped, with thoughtful details like robes, clothes airers, and every kitchen item you could need. Loren and the rest of the on-site team were lovely and really helpful during check-in and check-out. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. It’s a great location for a group getaway and very reasonably priced. Just a heads-up: a few of the yurts are closer to the main road than others, but this is clearly shown on the site map, so you can choose accordingly. And you can only cook at each individual yurt, rather than the main communal area (if hiring exclusively), plus all fridge space is in each yurt (no general communal space), but there is a communal freezer. Huge thanks to Helen and the team—we had a fantastic time and hope to return again some day soon! Thanks, Emma.

Never had a hot tub holiday before and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's a lovely site with plenty of privacy. Everything had been thought of from a dogs bowl to towels to kitchen utensils and crockery. Met the lady who runs it upon arrival and Instantly felt welcomed. The yurts themselves are beautiful inside and incredibly spacious, the bed was incredibly comfy aswell and once the log burner gets going it soon heats up inside so not really any need for extra heaters. We didn't pay for the birthday bundle however they were still kind enough to put up a banner for my birthday. We will be back, hopefully April next year for my hubby's birthday! Well worth the money you pay!
