Stable Cottage is a converted building on a working farm near Kildonan, on Arran's southern tip. The cottage sits on a private garden with patio access from the living space, and the setting is rural enough for long walks through the surrounding countryside, yet only a short drive from the coast. The spring water supply is drawn naturally from the land.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and accommodation for four guests. Downstairs there is a living room with television and Freesat, a kitchen/dining room with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and washing machine, and a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Outside, a lawned garden with patio furniture and parking for two cars complete the setup. The property is non-smoking.
Kildonan beach lies a short drive away and is known for seal sightings; the village also has a hotel serving food. Whiting Bay, a further five miles on, offers a second beach alongside a play park, shop, bar, restaurant and golf course. One pet is welcome. Stable Cottage can be booked with the neighbouring Bushmill Cottage to sleep up to eight guests together.
