The Granary
North Ayrshire
Isle of Arran draws visitors for its rugged landscapes and quiet beaches, and The Granary sits on a working farm with a particular advantage: a farm track leading directly to sand and seclusion. The converted building faces across the water toward Ailsa Craig, a view that carries through into the main living spaces on the ground floor, where an open-plan layout combines a sitting area with woodburner, dining space, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. A conservatory extends this vantage point on days when weather turns.
Three bedrooms sleep six: a double with ensuite on the ground floor, a kingsize with ensuite upstairs, and two singles in a third room. The second bathroom serves the upper floor. Essentials including heating, electricity, wi-fi and towels are covered, and one dog can stay at no extra cost (though must remain on lead, given the farm setting). Parking for two cars sits on site, and a large garden with patio furniture provides outdoor space. Non-smoking throughout. Check-in is after 15:00, departure before 10:00.
