The Barn

You step into The Barn's hallway to find an open-plan living and dining room with sea views and a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, and a utility room with washing machine. Downstairs there's also a double bedroom and shower room. Upstairs are two more bedrooms—another double and a single with a pull-out bed underneath—plus a bathroom with a bath. The property is yours alone, with parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with terrace where you can sit out and look towards the water.

Kilmory sits on the southern coast of Arran, just under a mile from the beach and within easy walking distance of a pub, café, and whisky distillery. The front rooms of the house frame views across the water, and the enclosed garden means you can let children or a dog run around without worry. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. No smoking inside.

The island draws people who want either to unwind completely or to use it as a base for walking, cycling and exploring. A shop is 13 miles away; everything else for a short break is closer at hand.
