Whiting Bay sits on Arran's southeastern coast, a village built around a sandy beach and known for coastal walks that lead past rocky outcrops and sheltered coves. The Cottage is within easy reach of the shore, the local shops and cafés, and the kind of landscape that makes the island worth the journey. Arran itself has enough variety—moorland, glens, sea cliffs—that a week rarely feels long enough.
Inside is a traditional layout with character. Ground floor holds a living room with an open fire, a dining room, kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, and a conservatory; upstairs are two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two singles) and a shower room, plus a separate toilet. The staircase is steep and bedroom ceilings slope—this is an old cottage, not a new-build. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, as is initial fuel for the fire. There's parking for one car on site and a front garden with seating.
The cottage sleeps four and takes one small dog at no extra charge. No smoking indoors.
