The Stables

Step through the door of The Stables and you're met with a single open-plan space where living, kitchen and dining merge into one. French doors frame the countryside beyond and open onto a private garden with patio and seating. The bedroom sits on the same level, its windows catching those same views, while a full bathroom with bath and shower completes the ground-floor layout. Everything on one storey means no stairs to navigate within the property itself, though there are three steps down into the enclosed garden.

The cottage is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave—plus a washer-dryer, woodburner for winter warmth, and Smart TV. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; initial logs for the fire come with the booking. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. You have private parking for one car and a lawned garden that's fenced in. The property sits on the grounds of a non-permanent main house, with shared access but your own separate space and drive.

Blackwaterfoot is under 2 miles away, home to a convenience store, butchers and bakers, plus a hotel with restaurant and bar open to non-residents. The beach and golf club are there too, along with the pink sunsets the area is known for. Shops, pub and restaurant are within a mile. One dog is welcome to stay.
