Estate Cottage occupies a corner of this 100-acre private grounds, a former head gardener's home with the character of its 16th-century origins and the practicalities of modern living.

The cottage holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors. Downstairs, there's a living room with woodburner and smart TV, a separate sitting room, a kitchen with electric range and dishwasher, games room, and utility room. Upstairs: two kingsize bedrooms with ensuite showers, a third bedroom with zip-and-link single beds, and a family bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the woodburner are provided too. The hot tub seats six and overlooks the lawned garden, and a converted cart shed houses table tennis.

Walking and cycling routes leave from the doorstep, with access to Weavers Way and other public paths. The grounds are unfenced in places—there is an open lake on the estate. No smoking. One dog stays free. The property sleeps six and has private parking for four cars.
