New Lane Cottage

Worstead Park's lakeside trails and Dilham Canal's cycling routes start within easy reach of New Lane Cottage, a detached listed property set at the end of a tree-lined drive on the edge of the Worstead Estate. The surrounding area supports red deer, otters and kingfishers, making it rewarding for walkers and birdwatchers. Hourly trains run from the nearby Bittern Line station.

The cottage has two bedrooms—a king and a zip-and-link twin—and one bathroom, sleeping four. A wood burner warms the ground-floor living and dining rooms, and the kitchen has an electric oven, hob and dishwasher for self-catering. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included, along with initial logs for the fire. The enclosed garden has seating and a gas barbecue; a private four-person hot tub sits separate from the main building. Parking is available for three cars. The cottage's steep, narrow stairs are not suitable for young children or those with mobility difficulties. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking indoors.
