Hero Cottage

Holt sits inland, but the North Norfolk coastline is only a short drive away—close enough for a morning at Blakeney or Cromer without the journey feeling long. The town itself draws people for its Georgian architecture, independent shops and cafés clustered around the high street. Hero Cottage is a Grade II listed property within walking distance of all this, positioned for visitors who want the quietness of a village base with easy access to both the shops and restaurants uphill, and the beaches, salt marshes and shingle spits of the coast down the road.

The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a king on the first floor with its own shower room, a double and a single on the same level, and a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Downstairs, the living and dining rooms each have a wood burner, and the kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with electric cooking, a dishwasher and all the basics you need. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. There is space to park one car on the property from 4pm onwards, and a rear garden with courtyard seating. One dog stays free.

The cottage is non-smoking. Families will find a highchair and stairgate provided, and a welcome pack on arrival.
