Kittiwake

Sheringham sits on the North Norfolk coast where beach access meets a working town atmosphere. Kittiwake is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage that sleeps four, with an enclosed garden and patio looking out over it all. The ground floor holds a living and dining space with a 50-inch TV; the kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so you can cook properly or travel light. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog stays free.

The cottage suits families wanting beach time without fuss. The sandy beach is close by, and Sheringham Park—with its spring rhododendrons and local deer—is walkable for those who want countryside. The town itself has the Lifeboat Station, a Maritime Museum, and the North Norfolk Railway's vintage steam trains. Morris Street car park is a few minutes on foot if you need to leave a second vehicle. No smoking inside.
