Sheringham's seafront location means the town sits between water and countryside, with beaches, fish-and-chip shops and a working lifeboat station all within walking distance. Manderley is positioned to make the most of this: a terraced house right in the town centre with sea views from the front-facing rooms that reach across open water. The property is yours alone for the week, accommodating seven guests across four bedrooms and two bathrooms spread over three floors.
The ground floor holds a living and dining room with patio doors opening to a terrace, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and the rest), a conservatory and a separate toilet. Upstairs, three bedrooms include one with a super king bed and another with a king; all front-facing bedrooms have those sea views. A fourth bedroom with twin single beds sits on the top floor. Two full bathrooms serve the property. Essentials like heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
The town centre location means restaurants, pubs and shops are on your doorstep, while the coast itself is within a mile. The house does not permit smoking. Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout by 10:00.

Not up to the standard expected of a £200+ per day property. Floors filthy and gritty underfoot, furniture sticky with grime from other people, badly needs redecorating, damp obvious in places, blinds held up with duct tape, thick dust and dirt on pipework and floors throughout the property, part of kitchen ceiling missing, wardrobe doors missing in one of the bedrooms, grubby unappealing patio area with furniture that was rotten in places. All in all very disappointing... Could be fantastic with maintenance and a dam good clean. One plus it does have spectacular sea views and is in an excellent location. P.S. Look at the reviews on all the other booking sites before you book and be prepared to clean!

Got back a couple of weeks ago from our holiday at manderly house just want to say it’s a fantastic holiday home in a brilliant location overlooking the sea at sherringham.The home had everything we needed .we stupidly locked ourselves out of the property and max the owner/manager immediately sorted out the problem can’t thank him enough .We will definitely be back the best holiday cottage we have stayed in .
