The Hilton opens straight into a living room warmed by an electric wood burner, with the dining area beyond offering views across to the sea. French doors from the kitchen lead out to a patio and front garden. Upstairs, a double bedroom with an ensuite has those same sea views; a twin room sits on the other side of the house. A second shower room downstairs means the four of you aren't queuing for the bathroom.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave—and there's a washer-dryer if you need it. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The property is no-smoking throughout.

You're just a few paces from the promenade and the award-winning beach. Sheringham's shops, restaurants and cafés are a two-minute walk away, as is the indoor heated pool. The North Norfolk coast offers everything from coastal walks to the Steam Railway and an 18-hole Championship golf course. Parking is on the road outside.
