Manor Farm - Daisy Cottage

You enter Daisy Cottage into a sitting room with a woodburner and Smart TV, opening onto a dining space and then a fully fitted kitchen. The wet room is on the ground floor with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs, the bedroom holds a zip-and-link super king bed (convertible to two singles), with an ensuite toilet and another Smart TV. The whole place is yours alone, with bed linen, towels and wifi included; the woodburner's initial logs are there waiting.
Outside is an enclosed garden with patio furniture and a three-person hot tub. There's parking for two cars. One dog can stay free of charge, though must remain on a lead given the surrounding sheep farms. The cottage is on working farmland near Lands End Farm, in the Mendips fringe; the village of Wedmore is 3 miles away, with a pub closer by. Weston-Super-Mare's seafront and beach lie 5 miles distant. No smoking indoors; babies under nine months are the only children permitted to stay.
From here you're well placed for Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells Cathedral, and the walking or cycling routes that criss-cross the levels and hills. Chew Valley Lakes, a birdwatching and fishing spot, is nearby. Bristol and Bath are within reach for a day out, as are several National Trust properties across the region.

A lovely cosy cottage, perfectly comfortable for our young family on a winter weekend away. It has a fantastic location overlooking The Levels and a close drive to all of the nearby nature reserves, towns and villages that make this area so special. The hosts were so accommodating and we were very grateful for them allowing us to change our dates when illness struck! We will have no hesitation in stopping here again.

The place was very clean and nice, the heating situation was a shambles we were working and only time we needed the heating was during the night which there was a schedule that turns the heating off from 10pm to 15 degrees so I couldn’t get a proper nights sleep waking up cold and this was only fixed on my last night out of 4 so rather disappointing.
