Arabella

Arabella is a contemporary lodge at the quiet end of a lakeside development, designed as a single-storey property with water views and direct access to an enclosed decking area. The interior centres on an open-plan living space that runs the full width of the building, with large sliding doors that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. A log-burning stove anchors the seating area; the dining section and kitchen occupy the same flowing room, making it easy for guests to cook and socialise together.

Three bedrooms sleep six. The principal bedroom has a zip-and-link super-king bed (convertible to twins) and its own en-suite; the other two also have zip-and-link super-king beds and share a second bathroom. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The decking is fenced, offering a secure outdoor space for children and dogs to move about freely while you watch the water and wildlife. A pub is within a mile. The property does not permit smoking. Arrive after 16:00, depart before 10:00.
