The lodge sits on a quiet lakeside development in the Yorkshire countryside, with decking facing west across the water—long afternoons and calm evenings outdoors are the point here. The setting encourages you to move slowly: gentle walks, wildlife, open space. You're also close enough to explore further afield, with a pub within a mile.

Inside, the layout is open-plan and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the lake and sliding doors onto the private decking. A log burner anchors the living space on cooler days. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking, and the dining area sits central, making mealtimes easy and social. Three bedrooms are arranged across the lodge; each has a zip-and-link super-king bed that converts to twins on request. One bedroom has an en-suite; the other two share a family bathroom.

Bed linen and towels are provided, as is electricity. One dog is welcome. The property is yours alone—no shared facilities. Smoking is not permitted inside.
