Kit

A single-storey lodge built with clean lines and large windows, Kit sits back from the lake with views across the water and surrounding countryside. The open-plan living area centres on a log-burning stove, with comfortable seating and dining flowing into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Sliding doors open onto a private enclosed patio where the hot tub sits ready for evening relaxation, and there is car parking on site.

Three bedrooms provide sleeping space for six: two with zip-and-link super-king beds (configurable as twins if needed) and one with a fixed king. The master bedroom has its own en-suite; the other two share a house bathroom. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. The location suits families or groups wanting a quiet base for exploring North Yorkshire's market towns and countryside, with gentle walks from the door. Smoking is not permitted inside.
