Bram's View is a second-floor apartment in Whitby with the kind of view that makes you linger at the window before heading out. The connection to literary history—Bram Stoker stayed in this building while writing Dracula—is part of the place's character, though it's the actual vistas over the water that will hold your attention. The location on West Cliff puts you within walking distance of the town centre, the beach and the cliff lift, with a pub under a mile away.
Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a king bed, the other with two singles. There is one bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and washer-dryer, so you can cook properly or do laundry if you're staying longer. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are provided. A parking permit for one car comes with the property, and one pet stays free. Note that there are steps to the entrance and everything is on the second floor—there is no lift.
Whitby itself offers the harbour, boat trips and fossil hunting; the Eskdale Steam Railway runs through the North York Moors nearby. Walkers can pick up the Cleveland Way to reach villages like Robin Hood's Bay and Runswick. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 15:00, check-out before 10:00.

My family and I LOVE Whitby and this apartment is simply...Stunning! You feel immersered in the literary heritage of the place and I have to say the that the owners, Tony and Julie, are two of the nicest, kindest peoplle you could ever wish to meet. We had a magical week! The view from the sitting room/bedrooms is to die for. I sat there for hours watching the sea, drawing at the desk, just as Bram (Stoker's blue plaque is outside) himself would have. Everything you could want is in Bram's View, including a sumptuous roll-top bath. You are so close to everything, so nothing is more than 5-10 minutes away. We will be coming back again and again. Don't hesitate...BOOK!!!
