Kiln Cottage Whitby

Kiln Cottage is a Grade II listed property in Whitby's Old Town, accessed through a gated private yard off Church Street. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a super kingsize and a double, both with smart TVs. There's one shower room with a modern cubicle and Velux window. Downstairs, a living room with fireplace and sofas opens into a substantial kitchen/dining space. The essentials—heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels—are all covered, and a welcome pack is provided on arrival. One dog stays free.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine. Original architectural features remain throughout, including ledge-and-brace doors and a timber beam said to come from a ship. The location puts you within easy reach of Whitby's harbourside, cafés, restaurants and boutiques; the 199 Steps are practically on your doorstep. A public car park is about 500 yards away with unloading at the cottage entrance. The property does not suit infants or very young children, and smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 4pm, check-out before 10am.
