Ocean Cottage

Ocean Cottage comes ready to use. Electricity, gas central heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, so you arrive to a functioning home rather than a list of things to sort. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob for cooking, a fridge-freezer, and a washing machine. Upstairs, the living room has a 40" Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player. A travel cot and stairgate are available if needed. One parking permit comes with the booking.

The cottage occupies four floors in a listed yard just off Whitby's main street, with restaurants and pubs within immediate reach and the beach minutes away. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double and two singles. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The property does have open, steep and narrow stairs between floors. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

Whitby Abbey sits 199 steps uphill from the property, the Cleveland Way passes through town for coastal walks, and the North York Moors lie close by. The steam railway runs from Whitby into the moors. No smoking indoors.
