Helmsley is a working market town in North Yorkshire with independent shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Lily Pad sits a minute's walk from the centre, making it convenient for exploring on foot. The surrounding countryside offers scenic walking routes, and Helmsley Castle and Walled Garden are nearby for a day out.
The cottage spreads across two floors. Downstairs has a living room with woodburner and smart TV, and a kitchen-diner with electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer opening onto a patio. Upstairs are two bedrooms – one with a zip-and-link king bed (divisible into singles on request) and one with a double – plus a shower room with heated towel rail. The property sleeps four. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. There is parking for one car on site, and a garden with seating outside.
The cottage does not permit smoking. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
