Newton House Farm - Oak Cottage

The North York Moors encircle this converted barn, which stands on a working farm close to Falling Foss, where a waterfall tumbles through ancient woodland. The cottage sits between Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, making it a practical base for exploring both the coast and the inland trails, including sections of the Coast to Coast walk. A tea garden operates beside the falls, a short walk away.

Oak Cottage has three bedrooms sleeping six. Downstairs, a zip-and-link super king (convertible to two singles) comes with an ensuite; a boot room handles outdoor kit; and the living room has an open fire and wood-burner atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a dining table at its heart. A family bathroom serves the ground floor. Upstairs, a second zip-and-link super king and a double bedroom both feature built-in storage. There is a second bathroom. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The cottage has parking for two cars and welcomes one pet free of charge. No smoking inside.
