Piper Cottage

Piper Cottage comes fully equipped for a self-contained stay. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook proper meals or keep things simple. Upstairs, two bedrooms sleep four: one with a double bed and its own shower room, the other with two single beds and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs there's a living room with a woodburner and Freeview TV, plus a separate toilet. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The cottage sits in Bilbrough, a quiet village five miles south of York. You're within reach of the city's medieval streets and independent shops, but far enough out to feel peaceful. The property has its own parking for two cars, a bike store, and access to a shared hot tub (advance booking required) and garden with seating and a barbecue. One dog is welcome. The surrounding countryside offers walking routes, and the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors are a short drive away. The east coast is roughly an hour's drive if you want to reach the beach.
