Harrowby Cottage comes with everything needed for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, as is fuel for the wood burner in the living room. A welcome pack arrives on your first day.
The layout is all on one floor: a living and dining area with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles) and a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Two of you could sleep comfortably; four is possible with the twin room. The cottage has its own enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue, plus a private car park. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted inside.
Harrowby Cottage is part of Scalby Lodge, a collection of cottages near Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast. Guests have access to a shared games room with a pool table and a selection of DVDs and books. A children's play area and shared facilities are also available on the grounds. The location suits families and couples exploring the Heritage Coast and the North York Moors; the Cleveland Way walking trail is nearby.

Stunning location, great views, good to get away from everything Park and Pool Room/games for kids too but more ideal for an Adults break.

This was a good place to stay. A few issues seating areas outside very very basic. Barbecue area was a waste of time if you are spending £3,000 for a week you expect better. I'm trying to think if what good about the inside made up for the outside, don't know if it did for the price

Our 4th visit here now. Lovely experience every time. Immaculately clean, beautiful welcome pack, very comfortable furniture, amazing views. My only gripe is that check out is 9.30 am (check in is 4pm). This is very early for a family of 8, especially compared to other holiday accommodations.
