Scalby Lodge - The Barn

Scalby Lodge – The Barn sits on a clifftop near Scarborough, within reach of the North York Moors and Yorkshire's Heritage Coast. The property sleeps 10 across five bedrooms: three with kingsize beds, one with two singles, and one with bunks. Three bathrooms serve the house. Everything is on the ground floor, opening onto a garden with seating and a barbecue.

The main living space is open-plan, with a woodburner, Freeview television and doors to the garden. The kitchen has an electric range, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. One bedroom has an en-suite shower; the others share the family bathroom and separate shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The barn is part of a small complex with shared facilities including a games room with pool table, books and toys. Children can use the play area, though it may close temporarily for maintenance. There is parking on-site and no smoking inside. Scarborough's seafront, shops and attractions are within walking or driving distance, making this a practical base whether you want coastal days out or countryside exploration.
