Scalby Lodge - The Cart Shed

The Cart Shed is a converted farm building on the cliffs near Scarborough, part of the Scalby Lodge estate. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms—two with kingsize beds and two with singles—and has three bathrooms. The galleried living room opens onto a Juliet balcony; downstairs there's a separate dining room, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday basics. Essentials like heating, electricity, linen and towels are included, along with wifi.

Two of the bedrooms have ensuite showers. The property comes with an enclosed garden where you can use the barbecue, and there's a private car park. One dog stays free. The site has a games room with a pool table and a shared children's play area, though the latter closes at times for safety reasons. Scarborough's seafront lies nearby; the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast are within reach for walking. Smoking is not permitted inside.
