Scosthrop is one of several holiday homes created from an 18th-century cotton mill in Settle. The conversion has kept the building's historic bones intact while adding the essentials for comfortable self-catering: electricity, heating, Wi-Fi and parking on site. You get the whole detached property to yourself.
The layout is straightforward. Everything sits on the ground floor—a combined living and dining space with an electric woodburner, a kitchen equipped for cooking (oven, hob, dishwasher), and three bedrooms. The first has a king bed, the second a double, and the third two singles, meaning the cottage comfortably sleeps six. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Settle is a market town surrounded by countryside, with local walks and shops within easy reach. The property is non-smoking. Check in is after 5pm and checkout before 10am.
