The Cottage sits in a village with views across the Tyne Valley, positioned between Hadrian's Wall country to the south and the Northumberland coast to the north—both within easy reach by car. It's a semi-detached property with everything on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one with a king bed and ensuite toilet, one with two singles), a shower room, and a living space with woodburner and Freeview TV. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher and washing machine among its appliances. An enclosed gravelled garden with seating looks out towards the valley.
Corbridge, a historic market town with pubs and independent shops, lies 15 minutes south. The area suits walkers and cyclists—Hadrian's Wall has dedicated trails, and the rolling countryside around the village is crossed by various footpaths. Hexham and Durham are within reasonable driving distance; Newcastle, with its museums and shopping, is further afield but still accessible. The Heritage Coast, with its castles and beaches, is roughly an hour away. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, and initial logs for the woodburner are included. There is parking for two cars on site, and bikes can be stored by arrangement. The property is non-smoking.
