This single-storey barn conversion sits within a 14-acre private estate, yet Alnwick's market square and castle are only a couple of miles away. Built from stone and thoughtfully updated, the cottage groups everything on ground level: a generous living room with a wood burner that opens into the kitchen/dining space via patio doors, leading out to an enclosed garden. Both double bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, one with a shower over the bath and one with a separate cubicle.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and a washer-dryer for longer stays. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the wood burner are all included; Wi-Fi keeps you connected if needed. A single well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
