Roundwood Dell Campsite

Had a lovely 2 night stay to attend our friend's wedding. Campsite pretty and peaceful. Facilities are clean and tidy. Lovely warm shower rooms and showers were easy to use. Staff welcoming and genuinely friendly, also dog friendly too. The wedding catering was excellent, a very tasty meal was served hot, which is quite an achievement from a small establishment. Brilliant choice of venue for a small wedding or event. Thanks to all the staff who worked hard and did a great job.

I stopped at this gorgeous campsite at beginning of September 22. It is incredibly peaceful and the pitches are perfectly flat. The toilets and showers are all individual units and spotless! There are currently 4 self contained units, 2 with toilets and basins and 2 with showers, toilets and basins. Please be aware that these units are raised off the floor and cannot be accessed in a wheelchair so users will have to be able to climb 2 steps to access. There is also a great washing up area. The staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful! I would definitely recommend!

Probably the best campsite we have stayed at! We stayed in the dell which was very peaceful with lovely flat pitches. There are composting loos in the dell area, and then the flushing loos and showers were a two minute walk up near the upper campsite. All the facilities were extremely clean and very comfortable. There is also an air conditioned bar on site where the bowls green is, along with a little shop stocking essentials such as firewood and utensils. There are taps at each pitch which was very handy. We also really liked the logs which showed clearly where each pitch stopped and the next one began - they are all a really good size too. We walked to the site from Norwich (there’s lots of parking but we were walking the Marriott’s Way so this was convenient for us). It’s quite easy to walk to, the very last section (100m long) doesn’t have a path but the road is quiet and not too fast so safe to walk on. We had such a warm welcome from Ethan when we arrived, it’s clear that he is passionate about camping and the site. He showed us around the site and served us some food and drinks in the bar area. He was super kind and friendly and made us feel so welcome - thank you Ethan! We also had pastries and coffee delivered to us in the morning which felt like a total luxury. They were warm and perfectly cooked, and the coffee was really good! Overall, we will absolutely be back and are so happy that we picked Roundwood Dell to stay in!

We had a great stay at this beautiful small campsite. It was easy to make an online reservation just days before we arrived. We liked the tranquility of the dell field and the absence of cars. Lots of green and space. Staff was very friendly and quickly helped to move our tent and other stuff to the field (and back). The camping is ideally located for a visit to Norwich as well as the countryside and coasts of Norfolk.
