About Easton Guest House

Dereham Road runs through Easton on the edge of Norwich, and it's here, just off the A47, that Easton Guest House offers a straightforward base for visiting the city or passing through Norfolk. The setting is more roadside-practical than scenic, but the surrounding area has golf and fishing nearby for those wanting to venture out, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within reach.

Rooms are functional rather than fancy, with en-suite bathrooms, family rooms and accessible rooms among the options, plus drinks available in room and free WiFi throughout. Some guests book apartment-style accommodation here too, suiting longer stays or those who prefer more independence. A 24 hour reception means arrival times are flexible, and outdoor seating gives a spot to sit outside when the weather allows.

Free on-site parking is a consistent draw, useful given the location just off a main road rather than in the city centre itself. It works well as a simple, unfussy stop for those who want easy access to Norwich without paying for a central address.

Great place to stay, nice and quiet, near the woodland walks. Place is not the cleanest but if you dont mind spending a bit of time clearing it up, it's absolutely amazing place to get away from all the everyday business and stress. There isn't any shops in the village but a large shopping area, with several shops and eating venues, within walking or biking distance. All in all very happy about the place, thank you for the experience :)

Very disappointing. Our rooms did not look much like the pictures. To start the code to the outside doors didn’t seem to work. We took ourselves in and did manage the codes to our rooms. The carpet had stains, it was very hot but not all the windows opened. There was a ceiling fan but it wasn’t balanced so it made a noise every time it went round but it did help with the heat. The towel rail was loose, there were two cupboards one which was okay and one which was locked and had holes in. The shower had a curtain which didn’t stop the water flooding the floor when we used the shower. My son also had an apartment but the oven dials didn’t work properly and we struggled to turn off the light. The crockery in our bedroom and the apartment were not properly clean so we had to wash it before we could use it. It was supposed to be a special night out for our family as they hadn’t been away for 2 years and I was so disappointed. Other rooms might be better.

We had booked one room for one night - good job -This was not a cheap place to stay. The carpet hadn't been hoovered at all - covered in hair and grit but the bedding and towels were clean. The room was small and the shower/washroom tiny and very worn. The floor above had very noisy floor boards and the walls were paper thin - you could hear everything!! The main entrance door was difficult to shut and lock. We would not recommend this place unless you were a very deep sleeper and didn't mind the dirt.

This was an interesting stay, I thought for a minute I was staying in Japan, experiencing the Shoji room dividers and ceiling. The kettle hadn't been emptied. But the shower was lovely and hot and there is good on site parking for approx. ten cars. Reasonable cost, room size was OK and tv screen size good.
