About The Honingham Buck

Sunday roasts and a well-kept selection of local beers are the main draw at The Honingham Buck, a pub with rooms on The Street in Honingham, just outside Norwich. The bar has a fireplace at its centre, and the kitchen caters for vegetarians and children alongside the traditional menu, with staff on hand who keep things friendly and attentive. Tables are worth booking ahead, particularly at weekends when the dining room fills up.

Rooms are en-suite and come with air conditioning, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Breakfast is included, and there's free WiFi throughout along with drinks available in the room. Accessible rooms are also on offer, and outside there's a garden with views and outdoor seating for warmer days.

Free parking on site makes this an easy base for exploring Norfolk, with golf and fishing both nearby along with further pubs, restaurants and entertainment in the surrounding area. It works equally well as a stop for a meal or a night's stay before heading on.

Pleasant village and nice staff but this is not the restaurant of years gone by! So disappointing. The food was basic at best and very over priced. Expect to pay £9 for a small slice of bruschetta as a starter with tinned tomatoes and small Diet Coke £4.00! We knew this place when it was real quality Norfolk fayre.

Family meal to celebrate Mums 90th. Could not fault with the staff being so friendly and personable and accommodating especially as our party had an age range from 20 months to 90 years of age. Food was really good especially the Sunday Roasts and enjoyed by all. As said we could not fault and we will be back Big Thankyou to Rosa and all

Rooms were lovely and clean. Lovely skylights. We, however, had reservations for food at 6:30 and we're then told on arrival they close at 6.30. when qeuired they said that we could have 15 minutes to order everything and that it wouldnt be "hard to do" because they only had Sunday dinner (roast dinner) and if we wanted to order anything else on the menu "it depended on what was left"

Quite a while since we were last here, and it's great. Excellent food, rapid service, attentive staff. We were in the bar area which was a tad noisy, but the quality of the meal and service overcame this. We'll be back, but next time we'll ask to be seated in the restaurant proper.
