About Hendre Farm
Tucked into the Pembrokeshire countryside near Newport, Hendre Farm delivers a friendly, well-kept base for coastal exploration. The site keeps things simple – decent showers, a solid toilet block, and an on-site café that saves you cooking every night. Rallies are welcome, and there's proper chemical disposal for tourers, though dog owners should note pets aren't allowed.
What really works here is the location: you're close enough to Newport's shops and pubs, yet far enough out to enjoy proper countryside quiet. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is within easy reach, and local options for watersports, horse riding, and golf mean there's plenty to fill your days. Some visitors mention facilities can feel a touch basic, but for a straightforward, no-fuss stopover while you're out tackling the coastal walks, it does the job well.

What visitors say
Just spent the February half term here, great value for money, lovely place, very welcoming owners. Warm and cosy accommodation- just what you need to come back to when the weather's not great outside. Kids absolutely loved the loft/ mezzanine bedroom. Lots of nice walks, beaches and pubs nearby. The owner (Roger) also very kindly posted back to us something we left behind. Can't recommend enough!

Lovely quiet place within walking distance of Dinas Head, Newport and lots of scenic beaches. The owner on hand for any problems. Internet connection a bit on and off but didn't really matter as plenty of places to explore. The barn was very comfortable with all necessary facilities and plenty of kitchen space for cooking for a large family. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing holiday. One week wasn't enough. Will book two next time 😊

Amazing place with stunning views or across the ocean. Spacious living quarters that were well cleaned and tidied. Upstairs had a sloped roof but centre wasn't too low and hey its a converted cattle barn. Host was lovely, and all you have to do to be on a footpath into the hills or down to the coast is step outside and walk for a few minutes! Wheelchair ramps and accessible showers in every building too.
