Christel was an amazing host and made us feel at home even for just one night. The room was great with good amenities. The breakfast was outstanding, a beautiful selection of homemade preserves alongside some delicious cooked options too. The location provides easy access to the North lake District and surrounding area. We would definitely return in the future!

Would 100% recommend this bnb. Great location and facilities, a super cosy and homely feel. The breakfast had loads of options and had a lovely chat with Christel (the host) who gave us a great hike recommendation. Christel was super responsive to messages and an absolute gem when we had to arrive late due to a flat tyre

We had the most wonderful stay here. Christel was friendly and welcoming, and flexible around our arrival time. The house and room was beautiful and calming, with lovely touches and a strong commitment to the environment and sustainability. Very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was exceptional. Everything was local and much if it made by Christel herself. Absolutely delicious! Excellent coffee too. Oh, and great location and views! I highly recommend North View B&B.

We choice this B&B as the perfect location to stop in Penrith at the end of the first day cycling the C2C route to stay for the night. We weren't disappointed as the location was great, easy walk to the centre, lovely room, great host and very welcoming. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay. Thanks to Christel who runs the B&B and look forward to having the opportunity to stay again in the future
