Lovely house/ castle to visit. We were given this as a Christmas present, Including a cream tea via virgin experience. Very interesting walk around the building and grounds. Carpark is £3 for all day which is reasonable. Lovely scone x2 each and decent coffee. Staff are warm and friendly.

Quirky country house with some interesting historic collections as varied as Egyptian and Japanese history. Nice open views and countryside walks also, plus a fishing lake. On site cafe for a nice cup of tea and snack.

Gorgeous walk around the castle today with our puppy. Stunning, peaceful surroundings with lots to explore. Pretty views in the sunshine. Car parking was easy and they give you 45 mins for free which was enough time to walk around the grounds. The Egyptian themed fields were a interesting addition to a classic dog walk - he enjoyed reading us the information as you can see in the photo 🐶🤓
