Pitlochry sits at the gateway to some of Scotland's finest walking country. Hiking trails thread through the Atholl Estates; cycling routes branch in all directions; the River Tummel offers fishing. Within easy reach are distilleries, gardens open to the public, and the sort of quiet lochs that make Perthshire worth the journey. Kindrochet Lodge is a detached Victorian property scaled for groups wanting their own space without leaving the landscape behind.
Nine bedrooms accommodate up to 17 guests across three floors. Four rooms have kingsize beds with ensuite bathrooms. Five rooms hold pairs of single beds, some with ensuite facilities, others sharing. Ground floor living areas include a dining room, two sitting rooms (one with Freeview TV, one without), a kitchen with a range cooker and breakfast area, a games room with a snooker table, and a utility room with washing and tumble-drying. Open fires warm the main reception rooms. The rear garden has a patio and seating areas; there is private parking for five cars on site.
Essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and firewood—are included. One dog travels free. The lodge does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
