The Perthshire landscape around Blair Castle offers immediate access to working farmland, woodland trails and the edge of the Cairngorms, all within walking distance of Old Blair. This detached house was originally built as an inn and has been converted into a substantial family base with seven bedrooms across three floors, sleeping up to twelve guests. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for four cars on site and a bike store for exploring further afield.
Ground floor rooms include a spacious kitchen with an oil Aga, electric oven and hob, two living areas each with a wood-burning fireplace and smart TV, and a bedroom with two single beds and ensuite shower. Upstairs are five more bedrooms—two with kingsize beds and ensuites, three with single or twin beds—and a family bathroom. The top floor has two further twin bedrooms and a bathroom. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the open fires are also fuelled. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge. No smoking throughout.
The grounds run into the ruins of St Bride's Kirk and connect to walks through Diana's Grove and up into the hills. The setting suits large family gatherings or groups of friends wanting privacy and space to spread out, with enough bedrooms to accommodate three generations or a dozen adults without cramping.
