Aberfeldy and the surrounding Perthshire glens offer a mix of easy pursuits and serious outdoor adventure. Within five miles lie shops, restaurants and a cinema in the town itself. Kenmore, under three miles away, sits at the foot of Loch Tay and hosts a golf course, pub, water sports, and the Hotbox spa on its banks. Closer still is the Keltneyburn Smithy Gallery & Workshop. Walks range from riverside strolls to Munro climbing, and a whisky distillery is nearby. Kayaking, rafting and wild swimming all happen locally.
Weavers Cottage stands on the banks of the Keltney Burn in the hamlet of Keltneyburn. Three bedrooms sleep six: one emperor bed, one kingsize, and two singles. Both bathrooms have bath and shower. Downstairs, a living room with woodburner and Netflix-enabled smart TV opens onto a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and the rest. Heating is electric, with underfloor warmth in the bathrooms; the woodburner's initial fuel is included. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The enclosed garden has a patio, BBQ and furniture. One car parks on site; a second can park 30 metres away. The property is yours alone, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors. Children need supervising near the burn.
